1- Fingerprint Lock
This is one of the best features of WhatsApp which is now available for the WhatsApp beta version and will be available for everyone very soon. WhatsApp recently added the latest ‘Fingerprint Lock’ feature using which you can lock your WhatsApp application with your fingerprint ID. Now you can lock your WhatsApp application without using any other security app. To use the fingerprint lock feature on WhatsApp, Go to the Whatsapp settings and touch the account settings and then Privacy Option, now scroll down to find the ‘Fingerprint Lock’ option, Under the fingerprint lock option turn on the ‘Unlock with fingerprint’ feature next select any of the three option under the ‘Automatically lock’ to lock your WhatsApp application after certain time when you are not using the Whatsapp application or when you switch to other apps. Below the ‘Automatically lock’ Whatsapp feature you will also see an option with ‘Show content in notifications’, you can either turn it On/Off as per your required security. This Whatsapp features will be very helpful to lock your WhatsApp application with fingerprint ID and always come to use.
2- Private message
Now you can respond privately to any contact in the community to a group message. To use this feature, you have to tap and hold a group chat message and select ‘Reply Privately’ and it will take you to the personal chat from where you can reply privately to group contact.
3- Play Video On Chat Screen
If you receive a video link from sites like Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc. on your phone, it will come with the option of video playback and when you click the video link, it will play right in the WhatsApp chat. So now, when chatting on WhatsApp, you can watch videos and won’t miss your clip and talk.
4- WhatsApp Sticker
Earlier this feature was available on messengers such as Hike, Twitter, WeChat, etc. and now you can use the sticker features on WhatsApp as well. Stickers help us convey our emotion very easily on chat so now you can use this sticker on WhatsApp chat, just upgrade to the latest version of WhatsApp and you’ll see this sticker category with the emoji and gift choice accessible. You can simply download the sticker on WhatsApp or import it from the Play Store by the Add (+) feature available in the sticker tab. Once the sticker is downloaded, you can just click any of the stickers you want to send to a chat.
5- Swipe to reply
The ‘Swipe to reply’ feature allows us to right swipe any message on WhatsApp chat to indicate a message and reply. Previously to indicate any message on chat we had to tap and hold the message and then touch the reply button on the top bar to reply to any specific message but with this feature, you only need to right swipe any message to reply. So. with this ‘Swipe to reply’ feature you respond to any message easily.
6- Group call feature
You can call more than one person at a time in a group with the ‘Group call’ option either an audio or a video call. A call icon is made available just near the name of the group using which you can make the group call. To dial WhatsApp Group, tap the call icon and pick the contacts you want to team up for the call and then tap the audio call icon or video call icon to make the Group call.
7 – Hide Muted Status
Now you can hide the muted status of the contacts which are in muted mode. Hide Muted Status allows users to hide status updates of the muted contact. Previously the muted contact status was visible in the status tab but now if you mute contact for a status update, the status will remain hidden until you press the ‘Muted updates’ option to see the muted contact status update. When you click the Muted updates option, It’ will slide down to show you the muted contact status.
8 – Share Status to Facebook
Whenever you upload status on WhatsApp you will see an option ‘Share to Facebook Story’ just below your uploaded status. Using the share icon you can share the same status on your Facebook story. This feature comes handy when you wanna share the same content on your WhatsApp status as well as on the Facebook story. The ‘Share to Facebook Story’ Whatsapp features saves lots of time for sharing of your content.
